Sun Blade Server Module Service Processor (SP) |
- The SP card is installed with Advanced Lights-Out Manager (ALOM) software.
- ALOM can be accessed via the RJ45 serial port provided by the Dongle cable assembly connected to the Universal Connector Port (UCP) on the front of the Sun Blade T6300.
- The Dongle cable assembly is provided with the Sun Blade 6000 chassis and also orderable.
- Support for Sun Management Center with add-on software.
- Support for Sun N1 System Manager.
- Compatibility for third-party SNMP system managers with requirements for SNMP (v1, v2C, v3).

The Dongle Cable Assembly that ships with the Sun Blade 6000 chassis connects
to the UCP and provides the following:
- VGA HD15 port - unsupported on the Sun Blade T6300.
- 2 USB 1.1 ports.
- DB9 POSIX compatible serial port.
- RJ45 port to access Service Processor.
- DB9F to RJ45F DCE Adapter.

| PCI Interfaces with the Sun Blade Modular System (chassis) |
- I/O is offered in two form factors:
- PCI Express ExpressModules (EM)
and
- PCI Express Network Express Modules (NEM).
- Each Sun Blade T6300 has four, x8 lane PCI Express links allocated to:
- Each NEM has one link assigned to each server module. All server modules
share the NEM. For example, Blade 0 has access to NEM 0/slot 0,
and NEM 1/slot 0. Blade 1 to NEM 0/slot 1 and NEM 1/slot 1, etc.
- EM slots are not shared between server modules. Each EM slot is
specific to one server module.
