Notes

  1. The minimum operating system (SM100 Module) is Solaris 1.0.1.
  2. The final software release for the SPARCserver 600MP is Solaris 2.5.1.
  3. The SM41 requires Boot PROM 2.8v2 or greater.
  4. The SM51, SM520, and SM521 require Boot PROM 2.10.
  5. All SPARC modules are compatible with both 501-1686 and 501-2055.

SS600MP System Board Memory Map

Notes

  1. A memory bank is 16 SIMMs of the same size and speed.
  2. The minimum memory configuration is 16 SIMMs in Bank 0.
  3. Bank 1 must be fully populated if expansion memory is added.
  4. Use 4MB SIMM 501-1739-01 or 501-2460-01.
  5. Use 16MB SIMM 501-2060-01.
  6. Use Standoff 330-1372-01 and Screw 230-1261-01, or use Standoff 330-1477-01, to fasten the MBus and SBus cards to the CPU.
