Sun Fire E2900 LEDsUse the LEDs on the individual system components to determine if the system is operating normally. That is, the LEDs should be routinely monitored on:
LEDs can be off or on. When the fault LED is on (lit), this indicates that a fault has occurred in the system. When the fault LED is lit, you should take immediate action to clear the fault. Note: The green Power LED on a power supply will blink when the system is in Standby mode. System LEDs

Note: For power supplies, as long as a minimum of two power supplies are powered (with only the Power LED lit) one of the the other power supplies can be removed. You can only remove a hot-swappable powered-up component when the amber Removal OK LED is lit. The hot-swappable components include:
