Sun Fire X2250 Notes

1. Install the largest capacity memory in the lowest numbered slots.
2. Install the pairs in slots A0/B0, C0/D0, A1/B1, and then C1/D1.
3. Use DDR2-667 FBDIMMs with 1333MHz Front Side Bus processors only.
4. The Xeon E5405, L5420, and X5460 FSB operates at 1333MHz.
5. Use DDR2-800 FBDIMMs with 1600MHz Front Side Bus processors only.
6. The Xeon E5462, E5472, and X5272 FSB operates at 1600MHz.
7. Mixing DDR2-667 and DDR2-800 FBDIMMs on the system board is not supported.

Sun Fire X4150 and X4250 Notes

1. Install the largest capacity memory in the lowest numbered slots.
2. Install the first DIMM pair in slots A0/B0. Install the second pair in slots C0/D0.
3. Install additional memory in slots A1/B1, C1/D1, A2/B2, C2/D2, A3/B3, and C3/D3.
4. Qimonda HYS72T256421EFA-3S-C requires X4150 ELOM BIOS 1ADQW027.
5. Qimonda HYS72T256421EFA-3S-C requires X4150/X4250 ILOM BIOS 1ADQW052.

Sun Fire X4450 Notes

1. Install the largest capacity memory in the lowest numbered slots.
2. Install Memory Filler 371-3651 in all unused slots.
3. Install the first DIMM pair in slots A0/B0. Install the second pair in slots C0/D0.
4. Install additional memory in slots A1/B1, C1/D1, A2/B2, C2/D2, A3/B3, C3/D3
   A4/B4, C4/D4, A5/B5, C5/D5, A6/B6, C6/D6, A7/B7, and C7/D7.
5. The Memory Mezzanine is not labeled with the FRU part number.
6. A 3mm allen wrench is required to remove the Memory Riser cap-head screws.
7. The X4450 requires BIOS 3B55 when Low Voltage 1.5V DIMMs are installed.
