Issue Description:
When a Sun Fire 12K/15K Power Centerplane Board is replaced in the field there
is the potential for the 48VDC cable to be routed so that it shorts against
a ground lug. This could cause one or more Uniboard slots to lose power.

This issue has only been seen in Sun Fire 12K/15K Manufacturing. However,
proper service procedures must be followed to prevent its occurrence
in the field.

In the instances where this has occurred, the 48VDC wires were routed over
the top of a ground lug. When the cable cover was installed, it pressed
the 48V wire onto the ground lug, producing a short. This caused the breaker
for a Uniboard slot to trip and resulted in no power to the slot.

This issue has been addressed in Manufacturing by changing the Sun Fire
12K/15K build procedure. See Process Alert PA004-20073.

Corrective Action:
The following recommendation is provided as a guideline for authorized
Sun Services Field Representatives who may encounter the above
mentioned issue.

When replacing a Power Centerplane Board ensure that the 48VDC cable
does not route over the top of a ground lug. The procedure for removing
and replacing the Power Centerplane may be found in Chapter 15 of the
service manual (806-3512-12).
