BugId: 4735211 - No symbolic link for Netra 20 that point to sun4u.
Issue Description:
XVR-500 Graphics Accelerator cards installed into Netra 20 (T4) systems
will not be able to use OpenGL graphics software and thus will not
function normally due to a missing Solaris OpenWindows file.

This issue affects any Netra 20 (T4) system where an XVR-500 Graphics
Accelerator card, Option X3685A, has been installed with the following
condition:

   . Solaris 8 without patch 108569-07.
   . Solaris 9 without patch 113513-01.

When this issue occurs, various symptoms can appear. An OpenGL
graphics application may not run, may create a "Segmentation Fault", or
may produce the message "Visual Not Found". If the OpenGL application
does run, it will run much slower than normal.

This issue results from the absence of a "SUNW,Netra-T4" file in the
/usr/openwin/platform directory. There should be the symbolic link
"SUNW,Netra-T4" in this directory that points to "sun4u". This needs
to be included so that OpenGL and multimedia applications will find the
correct driver for that platform.

This issue is addressed by patch 108569-07 for Solaris 8 and patch
113513-01 for Solaris 9. There is also a simple workaround procedure.
See below. No matter which method is used to correct the problem, the
OpenGL software must be re-installed afterward.

A permanent fix for this issue will be integrated into future versions
of Solaris.
Implementation:
---
        | | MANDATORY (Fully Pro-Active)
         ---

         ---
        | | CONTROLLED PRO-ACTIVE (per Sun Geo Plan)
         ---

         ---
        | X | REACTIVE (As Required)
         ---
Corrective Action:
The following recommendation is provided as a guideline for authorized
Sun Services Field Representatives who may encounter the above
mentioned problem.

1. Install the appropriate Solaris patch

	Solaris 8 108569-07
	Solaris 9 113513-01
OR

2. Perform this workaround:

   As the root user,

   # csh
   # cd /usr/openwin/platform
   # ln -s sun4u SUNW,Netra-T4

After performing 1) or 2) above, please make sure to re-install the OpenGL
software.

   a. Remove any existing OpenGL packages using 'pkgrm' (1M).

   b. Install the OpenGL packages using 'pkgadd' (1M). The OpenGL packages
can be found on the XVR-500 Graphics Accelerator installation CD.

      These packages are:

SUNWgldoc Sun OpenGL for Solaris Documentation and Man Pages
SUNWgldp Sun OpenGL for Solaris Device Pipeline Support
SUNWgldpx Sun OpenGL for Solaris 64-bit Device Pipeline Support

Implementation Footnote:
i) In case of MANDATORY FINs, Sun Services will attempt to contact
all affected customers to recommend implementation of the FIN.

ii) For CONTROLLED PROACTIVE FINs, Sun Services mission critical
support teams will recommend implementation of the FIN (to their
respective accounts), at the convenience of the customer.

iii) For REACTIVE FINs, Sun Services will implement the FIN as the
     need arises.
