Issue Description:
The Sun Enterprise Alternate Pathing (AP) 2.2 product that was
distributed on the Solaris 7 8/99 Supplement CD is incorrect and does
not match the proper versions distributed with Solaris 7 5/99 and
11/99. The Solaris 8/99 version is missing several bug fixes and is
not patchable via normal patch mechanisms.

The AP 2.2 product provides Alternate Pathing features for both Sun
Enterprise 10000 servers and for the Sun Enterprise 3x00, 4x00, 5x00
and 6x00 server line. Customers with any of these systems that obtained
their AP 2.2 product from Solaris 7 8/99 must replace that product with
the proper one.
Implementation:
---
        | | MANDATORY (Fully Pro-Active)
         ---

         ---
        | | CONTROLLED PRO-ACTIVE (per Sun Geo Plan)
         ---

         ---
        | X | REACTIVE (As Required)
         ---
Corrective Action:
Authorized Service Representatives and Enterprise Customers should note
the recommendation shown below to avoid encountering problems with the
above mentioned AP 2.2 product:

The INCORRECT version of AP 2.2 on the s998u3 Supplements CD can be
identified with 'pkginfo -l' output for the SUNWapdoc, SUNWapdv,
SUNWapr, SUNWapssp and SUNWapu packages:

	VERSION: 2.2.0,REV=1999.03.10.22.34

The CORRECT version of these packages (Sol 5/99 & 11/99) will show this
version:

	VERSION: 2.2.0,REV=1999.04.12.15.17

The Solaris 8/99 AP 2.2 should be removed from the system via a UNIX
pkgrm command, and AP 2.2 from the Solaris 5/99 or 11/99 supplement CD
installed via a pkgadd. The correct AP 2.2 version can also be obtained
from the Web at:
