Issue Description:
The supplier of the 8mm Mammoth drive has been required to implement a
new IC in the Mammoth drive due to EOL of the old part. The new IC is
functionally identical to the old part, however a new revision of firm-
ware (rev 39E) is required to implement the new IC hardware.

This issue affects all Mammoth 8mm tape drive configurations. It will
result in two versions of the 20GB 8mm Mammoth drive existing in the
field; one with rev 37F code and one with 39E code. These two versions
of drive are interchangeable (Thus, the rev roll only!).

No failure of the drive is involved. There is NO CHANGE to form, fit, or
function.

Sun Engineering will rev roll the affected parts (370-(2183/2184/2401)-02.
Existing drives will contain firmware rev 37F. New drives will contain
firmware rev 39E. While slightly different, these drives are FUNCTIONALLY
IDENTICAL. NO CHANGE to form, fit, or function.

Sun will implement ECO: WO_15930 which releases the new hardware and
Firmware rev 39E.

The drive supplier will phase in the new part and it will be tracked by
rev roll and date code.
