Issue Description:
The Cable Assy (p/n: 422-6543-001 R01 and 530-2379-01) is too long
to meet UL requirements for applications in the USA. The cable Assy
was incorrectly approved by UL staff when originally presented. Since
that time, it has been discovered that the 20ft length is actually in
violation of the UL requirement of 14.75ft max.

A shorter replacement cable has been designed (p/n: 530-2503-01), and
is to be used effective immediately. This FIN serves to alert the
field/sales staff of this new requirement and to make sure the implica-
tions are understood with regard to site planning/location of input
power, etc.

The Cable that is in violation of the UL spec is clearly marked with
the part number: 422-6543-001 R0X or 530-2379-01, and is 20ft long
+/- 0.5 ft. All existing installs will have the short length require-
ment waived, but the shorter cable assy is required for all U.S. sales
contracts signed after the [proposed] date of 09/15/98. This date has
yet to be officially accepted by UL.

All systems whose sales contracts are signed after 09/15/98 will need
to be equipped with short Cable Assy (mfg p/n: 530-2503-01, mkt p/n:
x3865A).
Implementation:

  	 ---

         ---
    	| | REACTIVE (As Required)
  	 ---
Corrective Action:
All U.S. systems with sales contracts signed after 09/15/98 must be
equipped with the new Cable Assy (mfg p/n: 530-2503-01, mkt p/n: x3865A).
All other systems will be allowed to be equipped with the 20ft cable
(p/n: 422-6543-001). A hardware swap of all for existing US systems
with sales contracts signed before 09/15/98 will not be required, pending
UL's acceptance of this cut-in date.
Comments:
All U.S. systems with sales contracts signed after 09/15/98 must be equipped
