Troubleshooting Details

Code Downgrade from 3.0 - If you need to downgrade code from 3.0 to 2.8x through 2.05, any SILKS licensing brought forward into 3.0 will be preserved. Any new features added via a HwActivation key or enabled via the CLI will be lost when downgrading.  See excerpt from the 3.0 release notes below:
  • The licensing methodology has changed to be enabled/disabled via CLI and Oracle Hardware Activation Keys instead of Sun Hardware Activation Keys (SILKs). Conversion of an upgraded library from the old to new system should be seamless and automatic.
  • When downgrading to a release prior to 3.00, new licensed features will be lost during the downgrade.
