Purpose

Description
This document would explain the details of how to Troubleshoot unable to install OS in guest domain


Symptoms:

One or more of the following cases will be observed or described when trying to install OS in guest
domain
  • Disk configuration
  • Lack of resources (memory, cpu and etc) assigned to guest domain
  • configuration issue (Verify links and Vnets)

Please validate that each troubleshooting step below is true for your environment. The steps will provide instructions or a link to a document, for validating the step and taking corrective action as necessary. The steps are ordered in the most appropriate sequence to isolate the issue and identify the proper resolution. Please do not skip a step

Step 2. Lack of resources are assigned to the LDoms.

Step 3. Network configuration issue.

At this point, if you have validated that each troubleshooting step above is true for your environment, and the issue still exists, further troubleshooting is required. Provide an Explorer output and open a Service Request. See 1020212.1 Data Collection for troubleshooting LDom issues.
