Description
DMI event logging is not enabled by default. Viewing the logs
can be very helpful for troubleshooting purposes.

Steps to Follow

The following steps can be followed to enable it:
1.) Power system on.
2.) Sun Microsystems banner will be displayed.
3.) Enter "f2" immediately.
4.) Pheonix BIOS Setup Utility screen will be displayed.
5.) Use right arrow key to highlite "advanced".
6.) Use down arrow key to hightlite "DMI event Logging"
and then hit enter.
7.) DMI Event Logging screen will be displayed.
8.) Use the up and down arrow keys to navigate to highlite
"Event Logging" and "ECC Event Logging" and toggle their
values to "enabled" using the minus key.
To view the DMI Event Logs:
1.) Follow steps 1-6 from above.
2.) Use down arrow key to highlite "View DMI Event log"
and hit enter.
3.) A window will pop up that says "DMI Event Log" at the
top and it will contain to log events.The up and down
arrow keys can be used to scroll through the log.
