Goal

How to replace SL8500 Op Panel while library is online.

Solution

Yes, the Op Panel can be replaced while library is running.

Refer to the SL8500 Replaceable Part Catalog for correct instructions on replacing the Op Panel.

Basically, power off old panel with power switch on panel.
Disconnect, ethernet cable and power cable from old panel.
Remove 4 mounting screws.

Replace in reverse.
