Goal

In order to have guidance for the troubleshooting of [AD] Events on Midrange Server Platforms, search the specific event into the tables provided into this document.

These errors are records of the event.  They are not a diagnosis as to the faulty part.

The following is an example of the error you may want to search (just the bold part):

Each [AD] Event will provide you a number of information.

If we look at the provided example ASIC.AR.ADR_PERR.10423006 :


Event Code Platform Restoration Action Component Health Status Reporting FRU Event Description Indictment Repair Action
ASIC.AR.ADR_PERR.10423006 Platform/domain has "Error Pause" set. SCApp diagnoses event and sets Component Health Status SCApp sets Component Health Status to "Suspect" for all suspected FRUs then invokes set key off/on. Suspect FRUs are NOT removed from platform resource pool and POST will run against all FRUs. If POST errors are detected the failing FRU will be removed from the resources pool.. Suspect RP Address parity error has occurred on port 6 to I/O Assembly 6. OR SF48x0 Multiple FRU event: {IB[6] or RP[x]} [X] = reporting FRU Develop an service action plan with input from appropriate service peronnel and customer and to replace suspect FRU list.
