Goal

Basic understanding of how to upgrade a V2X subsystem to a V2Xf subsystem.
This is a conversion from ESCON host attach to FICON host attach interfaces.

Solution

Please refer to V2X to V2Xf Upgrade document which has all the steps needed to accomplish the hardware upgrade.

The latest release of V2Xf microcode and the installation instructions can be downloaded from the USR.
