Description
This document intends to show how to relate a DIMM location as presented in an error message, to the actual physical location on the system board, so that the correct DIMM can be replaced.

Steps to Follow
T5140 and T5240 DIMM Decode and Location Info
---------------------------------------------
       The T5140/5240 servers can have up to 16 fb-dimms located on the system board,and another
16 possible fb-dimms located on a memory riser card.The memory riser card snaps
onto the system board over the fb-dimms.The fb-dimms are referred to by a "fru name" by
the operating system and service processor.They are identified on the system board and
memory riser board by a "J" location.This document will illustrate how to relate
the "fru name" to the "J" location so the correct fb-dimm can be replaced.

failures of fb-dimms can be displayed by the following commands:

1.) From ILOM
-> show faulty

2.) From ALOM CMT
sc> showfaults -v

3.) From Solaris
fmadm faulty
