How to configure the network data path ports (eth6 and eth7) for IntelliStore?
IntelliStore EA
The CLI information was taken from the "Configuration Setup" section of the Intellistore Configuration and Administration Guide Edition 1.
The GUI information was taken from the "Using the GUI to Configure Your Archive System" section of the Intellistore Configuration and Administration Guide Edition 1.  Details in the "Editing the Network Configuration" subsection.

The IntelliStore network data path ports (eth6 and eth7) can be configured through the web GUI or through the command line interface (CLI).

CLI:

  1. as> edit archivesystem ipaddress=IP address gateway=gateway address subnetmask=subnetmask metric=metric ethport=6 nodeid=1
  2. as> edit archivesystem ipaddress=IP address gateway=gateway address subnetmask=subnetmask metric=metric ethport=7 nodeid=1
  3. as> edit archivesystem ipaddress=IP address gateway=gateway address subnetmask=subnetmask metric=metric ethport=6 nodeid=2
  4. as> edit archivesystem ipaddress=IP address gateway=gateway address subnetmask=subnetmask metric=metric ethport=7 nodeid=2

Web GUI:

  1. Click on the System Management -> Interface Configuration option in the tree menu in the left pane.
  2. Select Node-1 in the Nodeid field near the top.
  3. Select the radio button for eth6 and then modify the information in the text boxes.
  4. Click apply.
  5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for eth7.
  6. Select Node-2 in the Nodeid field near the top.
  7. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for eth6 and eth7 on Node 2.
