This document describes how to enable IBM LTO Fibre Drives to Log onto Switch as F Fabric Device and Not FL Loop Device.

Solution

Steps to Follow
To Enable IBM LTO Fibre Drives to Log onto Switch:
Set Hard-Alpa value from Library drive config menu to 126, consult L700 Installation Manual Chapter 5. This manual can be found at Sun StorageTek L700 Tape Library under L700 Pass-Thru Port Installation Manual
