Goal

This document describes SL500 and addresses whether or not Oracle/STK SL500 code can be used in HP SL500.

Solution

Steps to Follow
HP SL500 libraries have additional firmware for their IM (Interface Manager) and IFCs (Interface Controllers).
STK/Sun firmware can NOT be used on HP SL500 libraries.

 

The best way to do an upgrade on HP SL500 is to go to HP website and download the code.
