Goal

This document describes L700/180 - How to Enable SNMP.

Solution

Steps to Follow
The library monitor software needs to be configured to send traps to the host. This is the web interface to the library.

 

  1. Enable agent in L-Series Library Monitor software.
  2. Add recipient(s)
  3. Configure SNMP Management application such as HP Open View or Computer Associates Unicenter with the policies that define what the host should do with the alerts.
