Establish a serial connection to the array. 


From the main menu select  View and edit Host
luns 


Select a host channel, either primary or secondary
controller.


Select either  Logical Drive  or  Logical
Volume .


Select LUN 0.


Select the LD you want to map.


Select the partition you want to map.


Select  Create Host Filter Entry .


Select either  Add from current device list  (or
 Manual add host filter entry ).  If you select
 Add from current device list  proceed with step
10.  If you select  Manual add host filter entry 
skip to step 12. 


Select the  WWPN  of the hba to which you wish to add
this LD filter.


Confirm with  Yes .


The next window lists several other configurable
parameters.  To change any of them select it and make any
desired changes.
Host_ID/WWN   edit if needed
Host_ID/WWN Mask   edit if needed
Filter Type -   Include  or
 Exclude 
Access Mode    Read/Write  or
 Read-Only 
Name   user configurable name 


 Confirm your choices with the esc key.


  Add Host Filter Entry   Select
 Yes .


 The next window lists the  Host-ID/WWN  you
selected.  Hit the esc key to confirm the single filter. 
(Note:  If you do not hit the esc key now the filtering may
fail and you will have to start over!)


 At the next window select  Yes .


This will bring you back to the window listing LUNs 0 through
8.  Under the LUN column you will see  M  which
indicates the presence of host filters.  



To map another LD on the same host channel as above different
steps are used. 



From the window in step 17 select LUN 0 again.


Select  View and edit host filtering .


Select the  Host-ID/WWN  listed that you created
previously.


Select  Add Host Filter Entry .


Select  Logical Drive  or  Logical
Volume .


Select the LD you want to map.


Select the partition you want to map.


Repeat steps 9-17 above.
