Description
Proper way to install one or two processors into your Sun Fire V60x/V65x

Steps to Follow

The Sun Fire V60x and V65x has two processor sockets and supports one or
two Intel processors with 512 kb of L2 cache. It runs at 2 gigahertz or faster.
The Processors have guidlines for installation:
Only use Sun approved processors for the Sun Fire V60x and V65x.  You are
able to find a list of supported processors at http://www.sun.com/.
When installing only one processor you must install the processor in the
primary socket.  The second socket is automatically terminated by the
integrated termination provided on the Sun Fire V60x and V65x.
If you are installing two processors, both processors must be within one
step of each other and must have identical core voltage, cache size, bus
and core speeds.
Processor characteristics, such as operating frequency, stepping, and cache
size, are detected by the BIOS at system power-on.
