Description

The installation of the Dynamic Reconfiguration (DR) add-on modules of the Sun[TM] Management Center 3.5 V4 software fails on the high-end servers because of a platform check script bug.

Steps to Follow

During installation of the add-on modules, the DR module is found but never installed because the installation script fails to confirm that the server is a high-end machine.

The script "domain_checkinstall.sh" has been corrected and is now available in the Sun Management Center 3.5 V4 download. If you downloaded Sun Management Center 3.5 V4 prior to July 22, 2004, download the software again.
