Description
Sun StorEdge[TM] 53x0 NAS Gateway System and Sun StorEdge[TM] 52x0 NAS Appliance can be connected to Sun StorageTek[TM] 99x0 System (SE99x0) back end storage.

The following procedure is to identify the SE99x0 LUNs as seen from NAS OS.

Steps to Follow
Sun StorageTek[TM] 99x0 System: Identifying LUNs on NAS OS gateway

SE99x0 Vendor Specific Identification and Port World Wide Number as seen by the NAS OS can identify the logical volumes mapped to SE99x0 ports. It is possible to either use the NAS OS web admin GUI or CLI command to display these information.

o Vendor_Specific_ID=<RXXXYYYYZZZZ>
Use CLI command luninfo to display Vendor specific Identification

RXXX refers to SE99x0 Architecture type

    R400 - SE9910/9960 series
R450 - SE9970/9980V series
R500 - SE9985/9990 series

YYYY refers to array Serial Number (in hex)

ZZZZ refers to SE99x0 array internal cu:ldev (control unit: logical device) mapped to an SE99x0 channel port.

SE5310 > luninfo
isp1d000:
Vendor=<HITACHI> Product=<OPEN-L> Product_Rev=<2114> 34761MB
ID_type=<T10 Vendor Identification> VendorID=<HITACHI R4R45027B70020>
Vendor_Specific_ID=<'''R45027B70020'''>
 RXXX = R450 - refers to SE9970/9980V storage array
YYYY = 27B7 - refers to SE99x0 storage subsystem with S/N 10167 (in decimal)
ZZZZ = 0020 - refers to CU:ldev 00:20

o Port World Wide Number
Use CLI command hbainfo to display Port WWN

SE5310 > hbainfo
isp1: F/W Revision 3.3.18, Topology F_Port, On_Fabric 1
Node WWN: 0x200000E0.8B1B6E89, Port WWN: 0x210000E0.8B1B6E89
RAID Controller Info:
SID: 0, LoopID: 0x1, PortID: 0x10600
Fabric: 1, Role: Target, Logged_in: 1
Node WWN: 0x50060E80.327B713, Port WWN: '''0x50060E80.327B713'''

Use <Document: 1013016.1> to decode the Port WWN.

In this example:

50060E8 - IEEE Organizationally Unique ID (OUI) assigned to HDS
03      - Subsystem type 9970/9980
27B7 - Subsystem serial number 27B7 (in hex)
13      - Channel Adapter CL-2 port number D
