New Sun Blade 1000/2000 systems, which have Solaris[TM] 8 HW 12/02 OE or Solaris[TM] 9 12/02 OE, do not require smart card patches.
Sun Blade 1000/2000 systems, which have the following Solaris(TM) Operating Environments, require patches to make the smart card reader fully functional:
