Below is the minimum disk configuration supported on the A5X00 disk
arrays

What is the Minimum Disk Drive Configuration for a Sun StorEdge[TM] A5X00?

14-slot array

In the minimum disk drive configuration for the 14-slot disk array,
disk drives are shipped in rear backplane slots 0, 3, and 6 as well
as front backplane slots 3 and 6.

22-slot array

In the minimum disk drive configuration for the 22-slot disk array,
disk drives are shipped in rear backplane slots 0, 3, 6, and 10 as well
as front backplane slot 0, 5, and 10.

How to Verify Minimum Config when remote from system:

1. luxadm probe <-This command will give you the enclosure name

 example# luxadm probe

2. luxadm display enclosure_name
