Description
Sun Fire[TM] V480/V880 Firmware Error: RAM-CRC COPY FAILURE

Steps to Follow
Some customers receive the following error on reboot after upgrading either POST or OBP (but not both, although they are included in the same patch):
RAM-CRC COPY FAILURE

This error is generated when the Open Boot Prom tries to verify proper installation of its matching POST image but the POST image currently installed is NOT from the same installation and therefore fails the CRC check.

The OBP and POST/OBDiag firmware is contained in the same patch. During installation, the script will ask if it should upgrade both OBP and POST. If the customer answers 'no', only the OBP upgrade will take place which causes the OBP firmware and POST firmware to be mismatched, thus failing the CRC check upon reboot after patch installation.

If the customer answers 'yes' to this question, both OBP and POST/OBDiag will be upgraded and the CRC check will pass on reboot.

The current patch number to upgrade OBP/POST is 113034 for a V480, and 112186 for a V880.
