Description
To activate the File Replicator system option of a NAS Appliance or Gateway system requires the purchase of a license for both the 'active server' (source) and the 'mirror server' (target).

This document outlines the procedures that can be used to check that the File Replicator licenses for a system are valid and active.

Steps to Follow
The File Replicator licenses can be verified using any of the three methods shown below:

   - using the Web Admin GUI
   - using the Telnet Menu interface
   - using the Telnet admin CLI interface

1. To check and manage licenses in the Web Admin GUI:

   Under "System Operations" select "Activate Options"

2. To check and manage licenses in the Telnet Menu interface:

   Use option "4" - "Licenses"

3. To check and manage licenses in the Telnet admin CLI interface:

   Use the "lm" command :

   > lm
   License Manager
   usage: lm report  [-d][-a|-x|-m <module>]
             import  [pathname]
             add     <module> <origination date> <expiration date> <license>
             remove  [module [license]]
             check   [module]
             modules

   Example - Check replication license via admin CLI:

   NAS1 > lm report
