Description
This document provides the minimum requirements to enable aggressive page retirement on Sun servers. There are also links to related documentation and tools.
To take advantage of page and aggressive page retirement functionality the following minimum kernel patch revisions need to exist in your environment:

A copy of the Implementing Sun's Enhanced DIMM Management Policy for UltraSPARC® II, III, IV and T1 Systems (pdf) whitepaper is attached at the very bottom of this article. It provides detailed information on Aggresive Page Retirement and Sun's memory DIMM replacement policy.
