Symptoms

Elevator tube damaged by failed roller.

Cause

Roller on elevator assembly has failed.

Solution

In the event that the elevator tube is damaged by a failed roller, the tube can be rotated to present a smooth surface to the replacement rollers. This should remove the requirement to replace an elevator tube.

For reference, the part numbers of the rollers and spring roller assembly are as follows:
419889103 - ROLLER,3/4 OD
419838103 - SPRING,Z ROLLER PRELOAD SUBASSY
At this time the 1" roller used on the H-Bots is not available as a FRU. Engineering has decided to have the field replace an H-Bots if any of the 1" rollers (Rail contacting rollers) are defective.
