Please note the difference in date between the event and the delivery of the mail message.

Changes

The mail configuration on the XSCF never worked OK and therefore was changed a couple of times until it finally started to work properly.

Cause

The event generated a message.
The message was queued for mail delivery, but mail could not be delivered with the broken configuration.
When the mail configuration finally was fixed, the queued up mails were released.

Solution

Ensure the mail configuration works at installation time and recheck every time the infrastructure changes.

Chapter 2.2.12 Mail Administration in the  SPARC Enterprise M3000/M4000/M5000/M8000/M9000 Servers XSCF User’s Guide describes the procedure to configure and check the XSCF's mail setup.
