When POST encounters "Not enough memory to allocate buffer of XXXXXX bytes." the next "Excluded unusable, unlicensed, failed or disabled board: /N0/IB6" may be just a side effect that an SC reboot will fix.

11/14/10 2:46:39 AM Domain Reboot A: Initiating keyswitch: on, domain A.

The next restarts will exclude /N0/IB6, too, making the system unusable.

Changes

This happens typically after a long uptime of the SC and frequent reboots of the domain.

Cause

The SC's memory is too fragmented to allocate the required amount of memory.
This leads to POST failing while the IB_SSC is tested.
As a consequence the I/O part, /N0/IB6, is disabled.

Solution

Reboot the SC to clear the memory fragmentation.
