Improper shut down can corrupt the Boot archive.
power failure can corrupt the boot-archive.
Error on boot c:/method/boot-archive “failed with exit status 95.

Solution

Resolution
To correct the problem:

The terminal window, will ask you to log into maintenance mode.  Use the root user and password (stkEAL33)
At command prompt enter> svcadm clear system/boot-archive
Hit enter,
Then reboot.
This should clear the problem, and the KMS should now boot normally.
