Symptoms
When attempting to use Jumpstart[TM] for installing OS on a Sun Fire[TM] T1000 or Sun Fire[TM] T2000 system, the boot panics with a BAD TRAP error:

panic[cpu8]/thread=2a1073a1cc0: BAD TRAP: type=10 rp=2a1073a1290 addr=7bfac314 mmu_fsr=0
: illegal instruction fault:
addr=0x7bfac314

Resolution
The T1000/T2000 systems based upon the UltraSPARC T1 Processor (Niagara) and are 'sun4v' architecture systems which is different than the previous UltraSPARC servers.
So when the add_install_client command is run the administrator must specify the correct architecture type 'sun4v' and NOT 'sun4u' as was needed for previous UltraSPARC systems. If sun4u is specified when adding the client you will see a failure similar to this example (during boot -v)=>

So, the correct command to add the install client for the Jumpstart should use ,sun4v' for architecture type and should look something like this:
# ./add_install_client t1_server_name sun4v

Product
Sun Fire T2000 Server
Sun Fire T1000 Server

jumpstart, panic, trap, t1, sun4v
