Symptoms
fwutil gives error: "no such file or directory" when upgrading firmware on Sun StorEdge[TM] A1000's or Sun StorEdge[TM] A3x00's. However you can see the firmware file in the gui as well as in /usr/lib/osa/fw.

Resolution
This may be due to components in the array that are not optimal. Run healthck -a to verify the array status. If components are failed or are in any other state besides optimal then you must first fix the components and then you will be able to upgrade the firmware.
