Symptoms
Does HSC have to be recycled on all hosts when replacing VSM2 with VSM3 boxes?

Resolution
No, in a multiple host configuration running HSC/VTCS 4.0 or higher, it is only necessary to recycle HSC on one host when replacing one or more VSM2 boxes with VSM3 boxes. Recycling HSC on one host allows the VTSS name to be populated by the Config. It is not necessary to recycle HSC on the remaining hosts unless other Config changes were made.

Please Note: When using HSC 2.1 and VTCS 2.0, it is necessary to recycle HSC on all hosts when replacing VSM2 with VSM3 boxes.
