Symptoms

The PFAELG4A.DAT error log overflows is due to a high quantity of FSC3FFA errors on V2X and V2Xf.

Cause

The FSC3FFA entries in the PFAELG4A.CNT or PFAELG4B.CNT file are not errors - they are events and are not a problem.

Definition of FSC:
#define FSC3FFA_EST_PPRC_PAIR_NO_COPY_SUCCESSFUL 0x3FFA CSE: @SAME ENG: A PSF Establish PPRC Pair order that specified 'no copy' was received and completed successfully.

Solution

Resolution
To eliminate overflow:
1. VSM/SVA HW support needs to review PFAELG4A.CNT and PFAELG4B.CNT files to verify no indication of a problem.
Note: Specifically check for errors when pfaelg4a.dat file exceeded 5 MB and was renamed pfaelg4b.dat.

2. If entries are just informational, no action is required other than verify V2X or V2Xf box is at latest code levels.
