Symptoms

Unable to lower X table.
Stuck in place.
Robot can not move.
X table does not lower after a power on.

Solution

Resolution
If, when you power-on the library, the X table does not lower after a few minutes, the main pulley gear might be too tight to allow the solenoid to release the pawl.
Refer to below for instructions on how to lower the X-table, (Robot), when it appears to be stuck or binding.

Additional Information
This procedure should be done only by a trained service person. Not intended for general customer function.
The version 3 robot can be used in both older and new EZ Install modules. The latch in the old style robot is further forward on the fly wheel.


Fix:

To fix this problem, with power applied, reach into the back right-hand corner of the robotics unit and move the lever toward the gear.

  • Shows long thin screw drivers � being used to release pawl.
