Symptoms

Customer appeared to be running into bug 4483879 when trying to DR.  Cu
was running solaris 9 on the ssp and on the domain, and ssp 3.5.   When
trying to dr, he was getting the following error:

DR attach is disabled.  Reboot domain with dr-max-mem non-zero to
enable.

Because dr-max-mem is obsolete after Solaris 7, the message indicating that
dr-max-mem should be set to a non-zero value should not appear.

Resolution

The bug 4483879  is fixed in ssp 3.5 patch 112261.   This patch
description, however lists that its supported for solaris versions up to
solaris 8.   This is an ssp3.5 specific patch and can be installed on
solaris 9 ssp's as well.
Currently, the patch description does not reflect that this patch
is not OS specific and can be installed on solaris 9 SSP's, as well.
PTS-server-esg has indicated that a bug has been filed to eliminate all OS
versions from the patch description, but the bug has not yet been
completed.

Relief/Workaround
Despite the patch description for ssp 3.5 patch 112261, it can be installed
on an ssp with solaris 9.
