  "ERR key value of t3h changed: The model/vendor/serial# of the backplane
of this array has changed since it was discovered."

Notifications, if enabled, are also generated once every 8 hours due
to aggregation of the event. Various "t3.ComponentRemove" events corresponding
to the controller, loop cards, pcu(power and cooling unit), and midplane of this T3 are also recorded in the Event Log.

1. Use StorADE BUI:

  http://hostname:7654

2. Delete the T3:
a. Click the checkbox corresponding to the T3 device.
b. Click "Delete Selected" button

   Administration
|__ General Maintenance
|__ Maintain Device

3. Add the T3 back:
a. Click "Sun T3".
b. Enter device information and click the "Add" button.

   Administration
|__ General Maintenance
|__ Add Device

Please note: For StorADE version 2.2.00.03 or lower there is no option to "Add Device"

The procedure to add a device should be made using the CLI:

Switch user to root:

 su -

Add the storage device using the options:

 -n <name>
-i <ip address>
-p <password>

Prior to installing T3 firmware, you should disable StorADE monitoring of the T3 (as detailed in the corresponding T3 patch README). Before proceeding to install new T3 firmware, it is a good idea to first delete the T3 from the device list of StorADE. Upon completion of the T3 firmware install, add the T3 back to StorADE device list.

T3+ firmware 3.1.x has changed how it reports fruVendor and fruModel, which
StorADE uses as part of the "key" to uniquely identify the backplane of the
array as well as other components. StorADE uses the format "vendor.model.serial" as the key to identify a device.

For example, a T3+ named "t3h", which was running firmware 2.1.6 before
2004-06-02, has the following entry in rasagent.conf:

The key "slr-mi.370-3990-01-e-f1.038688" corresponds to how the 2.1.x
firmware reports Model/Vendor/Serial information either by CLI(Command Line Interpreter) or Web access:

The T3+ "t3h" was subsequently upgraded to firmware 3.1.2. StorADE started
reporting agent event "ERR key value of t3h changed" soon after. This is because it is no longer seeing the same string in the fruVendor and fruModel fields.

Upon deleting "t3h" from StorADE's device list and then adding it back, the
new entry in rasagent.conf shows the following:
