Resolution
This document describes replacing Drive in SRC/P Hardware Raid results in redirected drive:
  1. Start the gui. /opt/SUNWhwrdg/dptmgr

  2. Enter Logical View

  3. Ensure that the re-directed drive points to the drive you just replaced.

  4. Double click on the redirected drive and click make hot spare

  5. The Logical Drive layout should look like you would expect it to.

  6. Exit the GUI and select yes when prompted to save configuration

  7. the dptutil -L all should look better now.. All the redirects are gone

  8. Solaris 8 and above: run devfsadm -Cv to clean up the obsoleted links to the redirect path

  9. Pre-Solaris[TM] 8: You will need to manually clean up the obsoleted device entries.
