Symptoms

When a system configured with the Crystal+(375-3030 - a dual channel FC PCI
card), attaching a Sun StorEdge[TM] 3510 FC Array is power-cycled, the
array is not seen either at the OK prompt, or under the format program.

At the OK prompt, a 'probe-scsi-all' command will return:

 {1} ok probe-scsi-all
This command may hang the system if a Stop-A or halt command
has been executed. Please type reset-all to reset the system
before executing this command.

 /pci@1c,600000/scsi@2,1

If the system is booted, the format command will also not see the device.

Resolution

The solution is, to reconfigure the data rate of the channel on the Sun
StorEdge 3510 FC Array, from 'auto' to '1GZ'. With the data rate set to auto,
the array and the Host Bus Adapter(HBA), do not sync up properly.

Relief/Workaround

The temporary workaround, is to manually force a Loop Initialisation
Primitive(LIP) sequence, by disconnecting and reconnecting the fiber cable to the
Sun StorEdge 3510 FC Array. This will cause the HBA and SE3510 to resync to the
proper speed.

Additional Information

while bugid# 506386 references Ex500 and HBA# 375-3048, this issue has been
observed on N240's and Crystal+ (#375-3030)

Comment: In the products section, SE3310 LVD drive is selected. I dont see how this SRDB is related to a 3310. Please make the proper changes.
