Solution  1007581.1 :   Disk board installed in Sun Enterprise[TM] E4x00/E5x00/E6x00 Server is not detected, seen or recognized with probe-scsi-all

Symptoms
Unable to access or detect the Sun Enterprise[TM] Server 4x00/5x00/6x00 internal disks that are resident upon the disk board with probe-scsi-all command issued from the OBP level.

Usually, this is reported subsequent to disk board installation or after the server is relocated or reconfigured by the user.

Resolution
This is most often because the external scsi cable that is required to connect the I/O board's onboard scsi port to the disk board has not been installed by the end user.

Another common reason is that a Differential terminator has been installed on the disk board erroneously and the disk board is then not terminated properly.

The Single Ended terminator provided with each IO board (HD68, Single Ended, Fast Wide terminator, part number 150-2267) should be used to terminate the disk board properly.
