Symptoms
The customer gets the following warning message in the /var/adm/messages file":
WARNING: hrm_balloc failures occured,increase hrm_blist_incr
According to Bug ID 1222143 , "this message is only displayed when the
storing of stats in the kernel is not possible because there is not enough
memory to store them in. The only user of this code that I know of is the
collector. Customers could have written applications that use this feature
and caused the problem also. Running out of memory would cause the
statistics gathered to be inaccurate and whatever other problems that could
occur from running out of memory". According to the error message, the fix
is to "increase hrm_blist_incr." Refer to the "Resolution" section in this
document for how to increase this value.

Resolution
The following is from the source code:
  int hrm_blist_incr = HRM_BLIST_INCR;
#define	HRM_BLIST_INCR		0x200
You can tune this value by editing the etc/system file and
rebooting:
set hrm_blist_incr=0x400
