Symptoms
After executing /opt/SUNWsscs/sscsconsole/ssconsole to display the
Sun StorEdge Configuration Service Console GUI, StorEdge 3310 is
not detected.

Expanding the device tree for the host icon only shows the HBA card.

Double-clicking on the HBA icon show only the HBA information details.

User is unable to manage the 3310 with sscsconsole.

Resolution
Sun StorEdge[TM] 3310:Symptom:ssconsole unable to discover array
- Click under "Array Adiministration" pull-down menu.
- Select "Controller Assignment".
- Under "Controller Serial Number List", your 3310 should be highlighted
in purple.
- For the highlighted 3310, you can now select a server to manage it
using the "Server to manage this controller" pull-down menu. Change
from value of "None" to the host server that will be managing the
selected 3310.
- Enter the ssadmin passwd when prompted to complete this 3310 discovery
process.
Repeat above if you have multiple 3310 entries under the
"Controller Serial Number List" section.
A satellite dish will appear next to the host icon to indicate
discovery is in progress. Once discovery is finished, the
3310 is shown under the HBA icon.
