Symptoms
The Sun Ray[TM] client suddenly locks up, becoming unresponsive to the system keyboard and mouse.

Resolution
There are several potential ways to get a Sun Ray[TM] out of a locked state, with some being more invasive than others. Thus, it's recommended that the least invasive be employed first, and the most invasive last. Use the terminal keyboard as follows:
  1. Attempt to unhang the client while preserving the current client session, which may contain unsaved changes. From the keyboard, hit the following keys simultaneously: Ctrl+Moon

  2. If the client fails to respond to the above, remove power from the Sun Ray client by unplugging it. This has the same affect as Ctrl+Moon in that it is a soft restart that does not terminate the session on the Sun Ray Server.

  3. If problems still persist, initiate a hard restart by hitting the following keys simultaneously: Ctrl+Alt+Backspace key twice . In about 15 seconds the Sun Ray client login screen should appear and be accessible.

Warning: A hard restart kills the hung session without saving changes. All unsaved changes are thus lost.
