Symptoms
The system configuration is Ultra Enterprise[TM] 4000 (E4000) with an A5000 attached. Format sees disks in the A5000. This problem can happen on other Enterprise Servers, but seems to be most common on the Ultra Enterprise[TM] 450 (E450) and E4000.

Customer is installing Veritas running vxinstall and gets the following message during the install
process:
	# vxinstall
	VxVM uses license keys to control access. If you have a SPARCstorage Array
	(SSA) controller or a Sun Enterprise Network Array (SENA) controller attached
	to your system, then VxVM will grant you a limited use license automatically.
	The SSA and/or SENA license grants you unrestricted use of disks attached to
	an SSA or SENA controller, but disallows striping and RAID-5 on non-SSA and
	non-SENA disks. If you are not running a SPARCstorage Array controller, or a
	Sun Enterprise Network Array controller, then you must obtain a license key to
	operate.
	Licensing information:
	System host ID: 8092a47d
	Host type: SUNW,Ultra-Enterprise
	SPARCstorage Array or Sun Enterprise Network Array: No arrays found (license
	is required)
	Are you prepared to enter a license key [y,n,q,?] (default: y)

Resolution
To complete the install, there are two choices you can provide the customer. The first involves executing the following commands;

    1.  vxiod set 10
    2.  vxdctl license init
    3.  vxinstall

When vxinstall is run again, will receive the same message.  Have customer reply "y" and
continue.  They will be able to select the license during the install.  The vxinstall will
detect the license in the directory /etc/vx/elm.  Checking the /etc/vx/elm before doing
the above should show that the directory is empty or the necessary Array license is not there.

The second choice is to have the customer install either of the following patches, since this
bug is fixed in the below released patches;

    SEVM 2.5 - Patch ID: 105463-06 or later
    SEVM 2.6 - Patch ID: 106606-02 or later

Installing the appropriate patch before running the vxinstall should allow the SEVM installation to
complete okay without any licensing issues.
