Solution

Resolution
To resolve the issue you need to correctly identify the number and position of media magazines physically installed in the Sun StorEdge C2 autoloader.

via C2 font panel

  1. From the main menu, scroll to Configuration, and then press enter,
  2. From the Configuration menu, scroll to Magazines, and press enter,
  3. From the Magazines menu, select either Both, Left or Right to match the physical location of magazines installed in the autoloader.
  4. Power cycle the autoloader from the front panel button (this is required for the changes to take effect)

via C2 web interface

  1. Point your web browser at the hostname (or IP address) for the C2 autoloader,
  2. Click the Configurations link, and enter username/password when prompted,
  3. Scroll down to Magazines (or click link on left-hand page),
  4. Select either Both, Left or Right to match the physical location of the magazines installed in the autoloader,
  5. Click the '''submit' button to change the configuration,
  6. Click the Diagnostics link at the top of the web page,
  7. Click System Reset button (this is required for changes to take effect).

Additional Information
The Sun StorEdge C2 Autoloader can be installed with 1 or 2 magzines allowing for 8 or 16 media slots. If incorrectly configured the C2 autoloader will report falsely the number of elements it has available.

In this case when both magazines are configured and only a 1-9 slot enabler code is installed, the above error is seen.
