Symptoms
After you have installed Sun[TM] Management Center 3.5 as a desktop on a Sun Blade[TM] 2000, the Sun Blade 2000 icon on the console appears as a blue folder, instead of as the appropriate icon. This makes it impossible to monitor the hardware or to use the Sun Management Center tabs.

The following output examples indicate the problem.

Resolution
To have the folder display correctly, set the OBP variable banner-name as
follows:

ok setenv banner-name Sun Blade 2000

Internal Comments
There are open bugs on this problem, which will be corrected in a
future revision of the OBP patch. The uname issue cannot be fixed until
there is a new system definition in the /usr/platform directory.
