Solution Type FAB (standard) Sure Solution 1000814.1 : Hitrack Version B.4 And Below Might Report Incorrect Data.
PreviouslyPublishedAs 201093 Product Sun StorageTek 9990 System Sun StorageTek 9985 System Impact There is an issue with Hitrack version B.4 and below where data on the Sun Hitrack and HDS Channelone Hitrack sites are incorrect. For example, data might show "invalid-0" or "invalid-F" as the emulation type and also device DCR status might be incorrect. Workaround
Resolution Upgrade SE9990/SE9985 systems to Hitrack B.5. There were some changes in B.5 which addressed these issues (release note items 41 and 47). After upgrading to B.5, it is important to test the data file generation. If generating any data files fails, you should reboot the SVP and test file generation again. If there are still issues after a reboot, you should take an "autodump" and escalate the issue through normal channels. If you can get clean data file generation, you should perform a weekly phone home.
